Juice Reset

The Root2Rise Juice Reset was created to jump-start your weight loss plan, get you back on track after an indulgent holiday, or clean up your diet. A juice reset provides a high dose of nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables to provide your body with optimal health.

 

HOW IT WORKS:

 

BEFORE: 

In the 3 days prior to your reset, eliminate all processed foods, refined sugar, high-fat meats, and dairy. Please place your reset order at least 24 hours before pick up. 

 

DURING: 

Consider intermittent fasting (fasting for a portion of the day, 12-15 hours, including sleep time). Begin each morning with plain filtered or lemon water, and then drink your juices about 2 hours apart, depending on your personal needs. Drink water and/or green tea throughout the day. If you feel you need extra nourishment, supplement with raw fruits, raw vegetables, broth, or nuts. Be mindful of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) symptoms (nausea, weakness, shakiness, headache, racing pulse, sweating, confusion, or irritability). 

 

AFTER: 

Follow the reset with a clean diet, full of mostly raw fruits and vegetables, perhaps a juice a day, avoid processed foods, refined sugar, high-fat meats, fried foods, and dairy for at least 3 days post-reset. 

 

BENEFITS:

Lose weight. Most Americans are undernourished and overfed. This means that the standard American diet includes lots of empty calories and lacks necessary micronutrients. Following the full reset, including the pre- and post-reset diet, can help you to lose weight, especially if you continue to focus upon eating lots of fresh, whole foods. The reset also creates a calorie restriction that can help you to reconnect to actual hunger and break emotional eating habits.

 

Gain energy. As stated above this reset gives you a blast of micronutrients that are essential for your body to thrive at the cellular level. Major mechanisms related to energy including metabolism, hormone balance, and sleep regulation rely upon adequate intake of micronutrients for optimum performance.

 

Gut balance. Consuming plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables feeds the beneficial bacteria in the GI tract that help to maintain the gut barrier, reduce inflammation, and preserve immune health. 

 

Long-term health. Consuming at least 2-1/2 cups of fruits and vegetables a day has been shown to reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer. Also, the pounds and pounds of fruits and vegetables consumed during the juice reset contain vast amounts of antioxidants. Antioxidants protect against free radicals, which contribute to cellular damage that can lead to early aging and even cancer.

 

OPTIONS:

You can choose to juice for just one day, or up to three days. We offer two versions of the reset, the “Mostly Juice” and the “Just Juice” to allow for customization depending upon juicing experience, goals, and most importantly, personal preference. The “Mostly Juice” option is suggested for those who are new to juicing and clean eating, and the “Just Juice” option is meant for experienced juicers.

OPTION 1:

MOSTLY JUICE

Recommended for first timers, you will receive 4 fresh juices plus one tonic water for up to 3 days. Each day should include a fresh, mostly raw, plant-based meal.

2. Yellow: orange , pineapple, celery, turmeric

3. Green I: spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon

OPTION 2:

JUST JUICE

For experienced juicers, reset your system with this  pre-set menu of juice only, you will receive 6 fresh juices plus one tonic water per day.
