Juice Reset

 

THE WHAT

The Root2Rise Juice Reset is a juicing meal plan created to simplify cleaning up your diet, clear your mind, and set you up to make healthier food choices. Jump-start your weight loss plan, get back on track after an indulgent holiday, or just clean up your diet with this flood of nutrients and vitality! 

 

THE WHY

Lose weight.  Most Americans are undernourished and overfed because the average diet includes empty calories and lacks essential nutrients. Following the reset guidelines, including the pre- and post-reset diet, can help you to lose weight, and keep it off.

Gain energy.  As stated above, this reset gives you a blast of micronutrients that support your body on a cellular level. Major mechanisms related to energy including metabolism, hormone balance, and sleep regulation rely upon adequate intake of micronutrients for optimum performance. 

Improve gut health. Consuming plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables feeds the beneficial bacteria in the GI tract that help to maintain the gut barrier, reduce inflammation, and preserve immune health. 

Support longevity.  Consuming at least 2-1/2 cups of fruits and vegetables a day has been shown to reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer. Also, the pounds and pounds of fruits and vegetables consumed during the reset contain vast amounts of antioxidants. Antioxidants protect against the damage caused by free radicals, which contributes to cellular damage that can lead to early aging and even cancer.

Discover mindfulness.  Most people are on autopilot when it comes to eating. We expect to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at set times, and maybe even a snack at 3pm or dessert every night. It has been ingrained in us to eat at mealtimes rather than to eat based off our body's cues. This reset can help  you reconnect with actual hunger and break emotional eating habits.

 

THE HOW

Before
Schedule your reset. Plan to eat clean for the three days leading up to your reset start date. This means eliminate all processed foods, refined sugar, high fat meats, and dairy. 

During
Consider beginning each day with only water and fast for two to four hours after waking. Begin your reset by drinking your juices in order starting with number one. Continue to drink your juices every two to four hours, supplementing with with water and herbal tea as desired, throughout the day. If you feel require extra nourishment try bone broth, nuts, or raw fruit or vegetables. Be mindful of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) symptoms (nausea, weakness, shakiness, headache, racing pulse, sweating, confusion, or irritibility.

After
Follow the reset with a clean diet, full of fresh fruit and vegetables. Continue to avoid  processed foods, refined sugar, high fat meats, and dairy for at least three days. Remain connected to your body's hunger and satiety cues through mindful eating.

CHOOSE YOUR RESET

You can choose to juice for one to three days, and choose to juice for most of the day or for all your meals. We offer options so that your juicing experience is based upon your personal goals and preferences.

OPTION 1

Mostly Juice

Recommended for first time juicers, this option includes one tonic water and four juices, enough to replace "most" of your usual intake. You should supplement these juices with one clean meal.

2. Yellow: orange, pineapple, celery, turmeric
3. Green I: spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon
4. Orange: carrot, apple, romaine, orange
5. Green II: kale, green bell pepper, cucumber, parsley, ginger, lemon

 

OPTION 2

Just Juice

Recommended for experienced juicers, this option includes one tonic water and six juices, enough to replace  your usual intake for one to three days.

1 Day = $55     3 Days = $145

1. Tonic Water: water, lemon, ginger
2. Yellow: orange, pineapple, celery, turmeric
3. Green I: spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon
4. Orange: carrot, apple, romaine, orange
5. Red: beets, red pepper, celery, lemon
6. Green II: kale, green bell pepper, cucumber, parsley, ginger, lemon
7. Cream: cashews, dates, pink salt, vanilla

OPTION 3

Mostly Juice LITE 

Recommended for very new juicers, this option includes one tonic water and four juices with milder, sweeter flavors, enough to replace "most" of your usual intake. You should supplement these juices with one clean meal.  

3 Days = $145

2. Yellow II: pineapple, mango, celery, lemon
3. Green I: spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon
4. Orange: carrot, apple, romaine, orange
5. Green IV: kale, pineapple, cucumber, cilantro

OPTION 4

Just Juice PRO

Recommended for very experienced juicers, this option includes one tonic water and six juices with very high ratios of greens and lower amounts of fruit. 

3 Days = $145

Our juices, food, and smoothies are all made with raw ingredients, and we do not pasteurize the final product.
